I chose the option "US invades Canada", but what I really voted for was "US invades neighbor". See, that poll was obviously created by a Northerner. Had it been created by a Texan or someone from the Southwest it would have been "US invades Mexico", and Mexico is *not* a stable country, and it does have lots of resources that the US could really use. Bush, once upon a time when he occasionally did good even if by accident, was working on Mexican relations so that we could help to stabilize the country and be able to take real advantage of those resources. Now, however, I consider it likely (and, to be honest, somewhat desirable) that Bush will invade Mexico if the so-called energy crisis we have gets a lot more serious than it is. As long as he doesn't get re-elected more than once, we're safe. (I suspect that if he gets re-elected in 2004 he'll push to have the term limit removed)

There's no good reason to invade Canada until they finally get toppled into a dictatorship (which many Canadians seem to think is likely in the near future), and we'd never conquor Canada, not our racist country, no way would we conquor white people.

As a descendent of people who found out first hand just who easy the American Empire would conquer, subjugate and systematically break the will of the subject people's will to resist in the future I'd like to take exception to that statement. The Second American War of Independence was violently put down, the industrial and agricultural capacity of an entire nation was destroyed and it still hasn't even regained complete membership in the Empire it fought to leave almost 150 years ago.

Stop censorship, eliminate the SLC funding that enables CIPA.
