I've been using it off & on since 1997. Hardcore only the last year. My real-life job is an Internet Systems Architect, redesigning the Union Pacific Railroad's web system architecture. Switching them from WebSite Pro to Apache, so I've been getting a lot of full-time Linux experience - I do all my R&D work on Linux, then once I have everything tested, I move it over to the production Solaris boxes. Nobody really likes Slowlaris, but they are a bit paranoid about Linux still. However, there has been a lot of discussion lately about making Linux an approved OS, as we've ran into a lot of things that would be simple to do with Linux, but a major pain with Solaris. I expect sometime in the next year for that to happen, there's already a several Linux-based infrastructure machines running and it's proving itself more than stable already. I can't wait! :)

Now, one of these days I'll get ROTFOH finished, then port it over to JSP, then convert everything to Linux. Currently the main system is NT 4/IIS 4, but there is an Apache server on my network via IIS reverse-proxy (Which is a severe joke compared to Apache's reverse-proxying abilities) - if you go to http://ooze.bloomnet.com/scarecrow/ you'll be getting content off the Apache server. (The /scarecrow/ directory is actually a virtual directory that triggers things through the reverse proxy) Only technical documentation there, but I do have Tomcat running in the background, and have some rather embarrassing first-attempts at JSP & servlets, but I'm not gonna publish any URLs yet, as they aren't worth seeing yet... I've been keeping my extra time reserved to finish ROTFOH before I continue on with any new projects.

So what Linux browser are you using? Netscape 4.7x is so ugly I cannot stand to use it. Netscape 6 looks good, but it's still pretty crash-prone, being an unfinished product...
