Finally - Have everything rebuilt. I had totally suspected a bad hard drive, which was not the case. I had reformatted the drive in hopes to get everything work. Boy that was stupid and time-wasting - turned out that the BIOS on the server had become corrupted. I just had to do a full BIOS reset and the machine started working again. Then I had to reload all the system software, intall the web server, install the web content, configure the ODBC database connections, search and search and search for a file called SessAct.inc that had not gotten backed up, which ROTFOH will not run without (It it the code that automatically logs you out if you've been idle too long)
Sorry about the long interruption! I'm just way happy however! :)
