ants?

i was recently slaughtered by an attack of 91 giant ants. is this number of monsters attacking at one time simply rare, or a bug? (seems a bit ridiculous to me...)

Completely normal, not a bug. Ants attack in groups of 1 to 100. Sorry you got killed, it happens...
