Just use the /resync option. It then will sync up the time to the designated server set

The 'net time' commands still work as advertised, so it's still possible to give XP machines a list of timeservers to sync with (which can be verified via the /resync option with the (new) w32tm, which will at least indicate a success (or no). This'll be necessary if not in a domain environment with a DC available to sync with.

I've read elsewhere that it's necessary to start and stop w32tm (which is a Windows service) before/after the NET TIME /SETSNTP:<> command.
