Hmmm... The thing finally fried out after about 8 months. Not sure what the deal was.
Interesting thing was I tore the thing apart and found that the whole thing is built around a basic laptop card (PC/PCMCIA, whatever the 32 bit interface is called) with a tiny amount of circuitry around it to "speak" to the card. Quite bizaare to build an access point that way, but I guess it makes sense...
