You mean anyone can come along and censor other people's posts? No "up for review", just GONE? Really? Why? (I've never clicked the "Mark as Inappropriate" button, so didn't know it just deleted messages.)


Anyway - it's obviously being abused, or some skript kiddie is deleting all posts in a topic. All my posts today have disappeared, and there are several other users on the site complaining about the same thing.


What I posted contained nothing objectional, other than perhaps people of an opposing political view. Then again, I saw posts from someone diametrically opposed to my viewpoint also get deleted. Nothing objectional to me, other than I disagreed with their point of view.


So you guys have a pretty serious issue on your hands - your site is losing credibility very quickly. People are discussing jumping ship on several topics. Even if it's not censorship by your people, the general mood on the site is that you guys are doing it. You'd better have your PR people do some damage control quickly.


Best of intentions, but quite disappointed. Please do not abrogate your solemn duty to provide complete news as journalists. Allowing others to delete on their own whim with no review/justification is the same as censorship.
